Got up pretty early and had breakfast at a cooperating Comfort Inn (with our campground). It was pretty cold (45) but we cuddled and certainly had enough blankets and comforters to keep us warm.
Drove all day--dinner (YUUCK!) a local place, in Pennsylvania. I had a cheese steak (it had sauce on it---YUCK) and Bob had sausage steak. We ordered banana cream pie--YUCK--artificially flavored.
When we found a campground, we noticed that we were the only ones in a tent. We set up in a small grassy area under a huge tree. Obviously, the RVers noticed that we were the only ones in a tent, so they looked at us like we were homeless or migrant workers. I could see people peeking out of their RV windows at us. Oh well--it was not that expensive though it was a lot more expensive than we remember, almost 4x more than when we camped with the kids years ago. Some RVers came over to talk and then more RVers came and pretty soon, it was standing room only at our campsite; in fact, we were invited to dinner by some of them. They came back later (I heard and saw them) but we had gone to bed early in order to get a good start on Thursday.
Today, we did Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois.
